Automotive Collision and Refinishing Technology

Students in this program learn all phases of repair and refinishing work necessary to restore a damaged automobile based on I-CAR National Standards.  Major and minor collision repair skills taught include use of auto body tools, removing and replacing body parts, frame and body straightening, welding, body work preparation, spray painting, air brushing and estimating repair costs.  Each damaged vehicle presents different challengers for repairers.  Using their knowledge, they must decide how to handle each job based on what the vehicle is made of and what needs to be fixed.
