This three-year nationally recognized and award winning program teaches students entry level skills in automotive service that are based on NATEF National Standards. AYES curriculum is used. Program components include: work safety, hand tools, suspension and steering, brakes, engines, engine performance, electrical and air conditioning.  Students will have access to the latest computerized equipment for automotive diagnosis and repairs. Integrated academics including physics, math and language arts are a part of this program. Students will do written assignments, have homework and research/study automotive related concepts. Successful students in Automotive Technology are self motivated, self directed and goal oriented. This is an elective program. Students taking this course also elect to do all coursework and assignments as outlined by the syllabus.
