Adult Day Care Services at CIT is a daytime program that provides continuous supervision and support services for the impaired older adult who should not be left alone during the day. The program helps adults remain active, prevents premature nursing home placement, and improves the individual's quality of life.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR ADULT DAY SERVICES AT CIT?
Any older adult who would benefit from a supervised daytime program. Those who particularly benefit include persons suffering from mental confusion, social isolation or physical impairments.
The Adult Day Care Services staff at CIT also specializes in the care of persons with Alzheimer's disease, stroke and other related disorders.
WHO PROVIDES THE CARE?
The specially trained staff at CIT Adult Day Care Services has been selected for their experience, patience and interest in older adults. A high staff-to-participant ratio is maintained assuring personalized attention.

- Community Involvement
- Relaxation Training
- Health Monitoring
Personal Care Services
(Available for an additional fee) include:
- Shower and Bathing Assistance
- Hairdresser Care
- Manicure Care
WHAT ARE THE HOURS OF OPERATIONS FOR ADULT DAY CARE SERVICES AT CIT?
Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
WHAT ABOUT COSTS?
Adult Day Care Services are typically less expensive than nursing homes...even in-home care.
DAILY FEE: $57.00 Based on maximum of 8 hours.
HOURLY FEE: $14.00 Based on part-time and/or extended hours.
WHAT ABOUT MEALS?
All participants in Adult Day Care Services at CIT receive a continental breakfast and hot lunch, as well as, wholesome snacks that meet dietary needs.
